Minister Howlin and officials will attend the Cabinet Committee Meeting on Social Policy and Public Service Reform on Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday morning Minister Harris will take all stages of the Appropriation Bill in the Dáil.
Later on Wednesday, Minister Howlin together with Secretary General Watt will visit the Payroll Shared Service Centre (PSSC) in Tullamore for its official opening. The PSSC is located in Tullamore, Killarney and Galway. Its opening represents a key milestone in the implementation of the Government’s Shared Services Strategy as set out in the Public Service Reform Plan 2014-2016. The PSSC is already servicing 20,000 payees across 21 Public Service Bodies and processing 67,000 payments every month.
On Thursday morning, Minister Harris will take all stage of the Appropriation Bill in the Seanad.
Following the Carol Service, Minister Howlin & Secretary General Watt will visit the offices of the Civil Service Employee Assistance Service (CSEAS) in St Stephen’s Green House.
On Friday, Minister Howlin will visit the Irish Maritime and Energy Resource Cluster – IMERC in Cork. Minister Howlin will meet Minister Coveney and officials at the Naval Base followed by a tour of the Samuel Becket
