Later today Tuesday, Secretary General Watt will open an Information Event on Data Sharing and Governance. This event represents an opportunity to create dialogue and understanding of policy proposals for Data-Sharing between Public Bodies.

The second annual conference of the Irish Government Economic & Evaluation Service (IGEES) is taking place on Thursday morning in Dublin Castle. The theme of the conference, which will be chaired by Professor John Fitzgerald, is “Delivering on socio-economic priorities while ensuring budget sustainability”. Secretary General Watt will be introducing a session on social expenditure challenges, which will feature presentations by Eoin Dormer and Niamh Callaghan, two IGEES members in the Department.
