Today, Minister Howlin officially opened Barnardos Children’s Charity new premises for the Family Support Service and Teen Parent Support Programme in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford. The centre provides information, advice and support to children and young people, families, and teenage parents in the North Wexford area including Enniscorthy, Bunclody and Gorey. Barnardos was established in Ireland in 1962 and is Ireland’s leading independent children’s charity.
As usual the Dáil is in session this week and the Department has a number of written Parliamentary Questions (PQs) tabled on a range of issues such as Public Service Management Bill; External public relation costs; Ministerial and Parliamentary Offices Act and the Haddington Road Agreement.
The Government Meeting is due to take place on Tuesday.
